1, Internationaler Testworkshop in London

Auf Vorschlag von Dr. Palmer fand am Wochenende der erste Ausbildungsworkshop in englischer Sprache testweise statt.

In einem wahren Marathon vermittelte Dr. Weidmann innerhalb von 11 Stunden die wichtigsten Vorschläge für eine Standardisierung von 3 Therapien, der Mesotherapie, Botulinumtoxin A Behandlungen und Fillermaterialien.
Gemäß der von ihm selbst gesetzten Vorgaben, hatte Dr. Weidmann ein umfangreiches Programm mit den wichtigsten international akzeptierten oder von ihm selbst erarbeiteten Protokollen zusammengestellt.
Hier die Hightlights:

➢ In der Mesotherapie gab es nachvollziehbare und akzeptable Vorgaben für eigene Behandlungen, die die ganze Therapie erheblich vereinfachen können.

➢ In seinen Vortrag zum Botulinumtoxin A hatte Dr. Wiedmann nicht nur die obere Gesichtshälfte einbezogen, die mittlerweile von allen Ärzten weltweit mit nahezu denselben Injektionspunkten behandelt wird, auch zur unteren Gesichtshälfte konnte Dr. Weidmann alle wichtigen Injektionspunkte benennen und für die Teilnehmer transparent werden lassen.

➢ Zum Thema Filler gab unser Dozent einen Überblick über alle am Markt befindlichen Fillermaterialien mit Vor- und Nachteilen für bestimmte Anwendungen. Auch die Risiken einiger Materialien und bereits bekannte Komplikationen wurden diskutiert. Eine Einführung in die erheblichen Unterschiede der angebotenen Hyaluronsäuren rundete den theoretischenTeil ab.

➢ Der umfangreiche praktische Teil war insbesondere dem kombinierten Einsatz der drei Therapien gewidmet. Dr. Weidmann demonstrierte seine alle Teilnehmer überzeugende Technik.

The mesotherapy, botox and dermal filler workshop, given by Dr Weidmann that I attended in London was without doubt the best teaching course in aesthetic medicine that I have ever attended.
A thorough and full day of detailed instruction was given including lectures, informal discussion and many practical demonstrations on volunteer patient models.
Dr Weidmann is an extremely knowledgeable, vastly experienced and very successful cosmetic physician and dermatologist. The preparation of his lectures and numerous detailed PowerPoint slides was meticulous. His English is perfect and he is an extremely likeable, friendly and approachable person. He was delighted to answer any questions in detail and the advice, knowledge and benefit of his experience that I obtained from him on this day will be invaluable to the future success of my practice.
In particular, he has a huge knowledge and experience of mesotherapy, and all its uses in aesthetic medicine. His mesotherapy practice is extremely successful and he mentioned that he had many patients flying in to his clinic in Germany from Mallorca for regular treatments. No mesotherapy course that I have ever attended previously has been anywhere near as clearly understandable, detailed, informative and useful to my practice as the instruction I received from Dr Weidmann.
Lunch was provided, included in the course fee, but rather than the usual sandwiches provided at most courses, was an excellent and very civilised full sit-down meal in the hotel restaurant, where our discussions with Dr Weidmann continued.
For such an outstanding full-day course, with many hours of excellent instruction and demonstration, I found the course fee remarkably low, and far lower than that which I have paid for much shorter and very inferior workshops.
I can recommend this course to all my colleagues, without hesitation, as one of the very best that you could attend anywhere, and as extremely good value for the fees charged.
